If your item is nearby, you can use the Find My app to make Locate emit a sound, which is 20% louder than AirTag, making it easier to find. Alternatively, you can ask Siri to help you locate your item by triggering the sound.

1. Turn on Locate by pressing and holding the power button for 5 seconds.
2. Open the Find My app on your iPhone or iPad.
3. Tap on "Add Item" and select "Add Item."
4. Hold the Locate near your device to recognize it. Follow the on-screen instructions to successfully pair the tracker with your device.
5. Give the tracker a unique name and choose an icon to represent it.
6. Once the Locate is successfully paired with your device, you can use it to track your items and locate them in the Find My app.
